Sponsored Walk April 2025
We did it!! Thank you to everyone who supported our sponsored walk.
On 10th April at 8am, 21 of our staff and supporters, including staff from Hill Dickinson Law firm, set off from Four Oaks train station on an epic mission. We walked 35k across Birmingham, along green ways and water ways, through the areas where we work. Thank you to Brookvale Primary School and Stirchley Community Church for kindly hosting us for much needed rest breaks. The sun shined on us all day and after 9.5hrs, a few strained muscles and many blisters later, we finally reached Longbridge station at 5.30pm.
It was worth every step and we can proudly announce that we smashed our target – raising an amazing £7,693!! This money will go towards our vital work with children and families across the city. Thank you to everyone who took part and supported us.
Thank you also to the children, staff and families at Colmore Junior School in Kings Heath. The children took part in their own sponsored walk, raising an incredible £7,417 towards our work.
