Our BEAR (Bereavement, Emotions And Resilience) project helps families who have experienced the death of a loved one in the last six months.  A therapist will work with each family for up to six weeks, visiting them in or near their home.  The therapist provides activities and resources for the family to do together, helping them understand their own and each others’ grief and supporting them on their grief journey.  You can self-refer for this project or a professional can refer a family.  Please make sure you have the permission of the family before you refer them.

Beyond the Horizon is currently part of the Birmingham and Solihull CCG Bereavement Pathway (COVID Response) providing therapy to bereaved children and young people in Birmingham.
